Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Bath Dates Swapped

The Dansville Aggies Girls Basketball team has swapped home dates with Bath and will host the Bees next Friday, December 12th at 6:00 PM.  The Aggies will travel to Bath on Tuesday, February 3rd with a 6:00 tipoff.  Click here for an updated schedule.

Football/Cheer Banquet 12/1 at 6:00 PM

The JV/Varsity Football and Cheer Banquet will be next Monday, December 1st at 6:00 PM in the High School Commons.  Please bring a dish to pass! School and conference awards will be handed out and the excellent season will be celebrated.

Football Banquet Rescheduled, Time/Date TBD

Due to CMAC policies and the weather, the football banquet scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled.  We cannot announce conference awards until all teams have completed their season.  Once all teams have finished, we will announce a new date.  Thanks for your understanding.

Aggies Beat Atherton; Move on to District Championship

Football beat Burton Atherton 51-14 on Friday under the lights (and snow) at Fuller Field to advance to the MHSAA Region 4, District 1 Championship game.  The Aggies will take on New Lothrop on Friday, November 7th at 7:00 PM at New Lothrop.

There will be an Aggie Fan Bus for students that will leave from the DHS at 5:30 on Friday.  It will cost $5 to ride the bus and $5 for tickets.  Please bring your money to Mr. Thorington in the high school office.

Dansville Aggies to Host MHSAA Playoff Games

Football 2014

The Dansville Aggies (7-2) will host the Burton Atherton Wolverines (7-2) in the MHSAA Playoffs Pre-District game on Friday night at 7:30 PM.  The game will mark the 6th time Dansville has made the MHSAA Playoffs having qualified in 1980 (Class D), 1990 (Class C), 1992 (Class DD), 2003 (Division 7), and  2012 (Division 7).  This is the first time Burton Atherton have qualified.

The Aggies are the 2 seed in the Division 7, Region 4, District 1 bracket.  On the other side of the bracket, New Lothrop (9-0) host Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest (5-4).

Tickets for the game are $5 for any individual 6 years of age and older.  Passes of any kind will not be accepted per MHSAA policy.  Presale tickets will be sold starting Thursday in the High School Office (capped at 250 presale tickets).

Senior Night and AggieFest

Friday night’s game against Laingsburg will mark the final regular season home game for our Aggie Seniors.  We will honor our seniors and their parents from both the football team and cheer prior to kickoff.

Also, the Dansville Athletic Booster’s AggieFest starts at 6:00 PM.  The Boosters will be serving chili, caramel apples, and cider.  DHS and DCAA cheerleaders will be doing the Chalk Walk.

Z 92. 5 will be broadcasting our game live on the radio at 92.5 FM.  It could be out of range in Dansville, but it will also be broadcast live online at

Middle School Boys Basketball Parent Meeting Rescheduled

Due to a scheduling conflict, the Parent’s Meeting for Middle School Boys Basketball has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, October 22 at 5:30 PM in the HS Commons.

Homecoming vs. Bath Bees

Homecoming 2014 is finally here as the Aggies set to take on the Bath Bees.  The Aggies are currently sitting at 4-2 (3-2 in the CMAC – 3rd place) while the Bees sit at 1-4 (1-3 in the CMAC).  The Homecoming Parade starts at 6:00 PM with kickoff set for 7:00 PM.  The Homecoming Court, Aggie Marching Band, and Homecoming floats will be presented at halftime.  Make sure to wear all of your Aggie gear and come ready to support your Dansville Aggies!

It’s Homecoming Week, and it is a busy one with at least one home event every night this week.  Here is detailed list of what

Monday – Twin Day

  • 7th & 8th Volleyball vs. Sarnac – 5:30 PM Middle School Gym

Tuesday – Pink Out

  • Float Building
  • Soccer vs. New Covenant – 6:00 PM Fuller Field
  • In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, Boys Soccer is going to Pink Out Fuller Field. Wear all the pink you have!  They will also honor those DCAA Youth Players.

Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday

  • Float Building
  • Volleyball vs. Laingsburg – JV starts at 5:30 & Varsity at 7:00 High School Gym
  • The Volleyball team will be honoring current and former Servicemen and Servicewomen from both Dansville and Laingsburg. They will also be collecting items for care packages to send to those serving overseas.  For more information, please grab a flyer from the High School Office.

Thursday – Disney/Super Hero Day
