Course Description:
Basic concepts of algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, graphing, and reviews of ratios, percent, fraction, and decimals. This course will involve students in learning to read, write, and think mathematically. Skills learned will aid students in passing the high school proficiency test.

Course Title: ALGEBRA I

Course Description:
Expansion on us of variable from Pre-Algebra. First and second degree equations are solved. Linear systems are graphed and solved. Percentages, ratios, and proportions are reviewed. Functions are introduced.

Course Title: GEOMETRY

Course Description:
The first nine weeks students learn definitions, and the distinction between theorems and postulates. Problems involving areas of polygons and circles, and volumes or prisms, pyramids, cones, and cylinders are covered in great detail. Differences between inductive and deductive reasoning are learned.

Course Description:
Continuation of Algebra I at an accelerated level. This course is primarily for college bound math students. A good basis for college math will be established. This is also a good class in preparation for business or science majors.

Course Description:
Trigonometry functions, identities, and equations are learned. The trigonometric addition formulas, and solving triangles using the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines are introduced. Recommended for students in Physics. Polar coordinates, conic sections, sequences, and series are introduced to help prepare for calculus. Limits and derivatives are also discussed.

This course is an extension of Pre-Calc/Trig, and will complete the topics not covered in that course. Topics will range from Vectors and Matrices to Probability and Statistics. Several other topics may be discussed such as Analytical Geometry and Limits.
