Course Description:

Students will publish a school newspaper every two weeks. They will learn how to construct a news story, conduct interviews, write in column inches, and will start to use Microsoft Pagemaker. Grades will be based on productivity, timeliness, content, and grammar (including spelling).

Course Title: WEBPAGE DESIGN

Course Description:

The objective of this class will be learning to design, upgrade, and develop a web page and web page designs in general. The student must be willing to endeavor in accepting challenges and be creative in their designs. This is a "hands-on" class. Students will be evaluated on their ability to do web design and their ability to create and update new web designs.

Course Title: YEARBOOK I

Course Description:

Yearbook is an award winning student publication that records the history of the school year. Staff members will develop skills in: design layout, writing copy, photography, advertising, selling, word and date processing. The staff members are expected to participate in fundraising activities to pay for the yearbook. Your work will produce lasting memories for you and your fellow students.

Course Description:

The second year staff member will work on an advanced level such as section editors. They will be involved in deciding the theme, layouts, and book coverage. The second year member will assist in training and supervision of the of the first year staff members.

Course Title: YEARBOOK III

Course Description:

The third year staff members will be involved as senior editors of the Yearbook. They will be involved as student directors of the yearbook publication. They are responsible to see that the yearbook is done one time by the staff and that the book is paid for.
