HELLO! I'm Caroline Rodocker.
During the year spent in First Grade, the children experience many "firsts." beginning with staying in school for the whole day. I feel my role as the teacher is to help the children adjust to all the firsts, to enjoy school, and to see that it is a nice, safe place to come to each day.
I like to work with parents as a partner in their child's education. Communication between school and home is a very important success factor in this partnership. Written notes, telephone calls, and the parents' presence in the classroom are elements that help make the communication effective.
Though our First Grade web pages are still under construction, please stay tuned to learn more about what we do together each day in Dansville Elementary School's First Grade. We will be adding page elements throughout the rest of the school year. We welcome your suggestions for how these pages might keep the communications between us well oiled and working!
