| Dansville Elementary School PTO is an organization of all parents and guardians, which serves as a forum for the purpose of developing a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, enhancing the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities and improving the environment at Dansville Elementary by providing volunteer and financial support. |

Research shows that children whose parents are involved get better grades, do better on tests and have fewer discipline problems in school. The Dansville Elementary PTO offers lots of opportunities for parents to get involved – baking, volunteering at events, attending meetings, helping out in the school, etc. Opportunities to participate are available at all times, for both stay-at-home and working parents – including Dad and even grandparents! Do a little or a lot – every bit helps!

How can I get involved?
Help out wherever you can. Even the full-time working parent can help. Contact a PTO board member to get on the e-mail list. You could help as a volunteer throughout the year for recurring events of special one time only activities. You can even volunteer to help cutting out and sorting box top from home!
