About our hiring process

The staff at Dansville Schools believes that hiring and developing our teachers is our most important task, as there is no greater impact on student achievement than that of a quality teacher.  We realize that our teachers tend to remain in our district for their entire careers, making each new hire a 30-year commitment.   We also believe in hiring well, which means we will re-post a position rather than offering it to a candidate that is not the right fit for the position or the district.  It is this commitment to quality hiring that ensures our students are getting the best education possible.
