District Wide Registration Day August 21st!

Dansville Student Registration Day

**All forms must be completed and turned in with parent signatures in order for students to pick up their schedules.**

Registration Day will be held on August 21st from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. We strongly encourage a parent to attend Registration Day with their student. We will have important information available that day, including a calendar of events for the entire school year and other useful documents. Student yearbook pictures will also be taken that day.

If you are unable to attend Registration Day you may register by bringing all completed forms to the office beginning August 20 until start of the school year (September 4) from 7:30 a.m – 3:00 p.m. Students who do not register before the start of school will not be able to attend classes on the first day of school until all paperwork is completed.

If for some reason you didn’t receive a packet, or if you have any questions about registering a student, please call the middle school or high school office. We would be more than happy to help you get everything set before the start of school.

High School Drop/Add Day:  Mrs. Akers will be available the rest of the week after Registration Day (August 22-24) to meet with students who have scheduling questions. More information will be available at Registration Day, including sign-up sheets to meet with Mrs. Akers. If you are unable to make arrangements on Registration Day and would like to speak with Mrs. Akers about your schedule, please call her at x233. All decisions regarding schedules will be made with priority given to what is best for the student academically and in accordance with the students’ EDP (educational development plan).

6th Grade Orientation

Orientation for DMS 6th grade students will be held on Wednesday, August 29 from 5:15-6:00 p.m. in the middle school gym. We will be providing an overview of what students can expect at Dansville Middle School followed by an opportunity to tour the building. All students and parents are encouraged to attend.
