Week of May 14th, 2012

May14

It is so hard to believe that May is half over! This is our last full 5 day week of school for this year. If your child received an invitation to our summer school program please RSVP if you haven’t already done so. Monday 5/14 and Tuesday 5/22 are our final 2 IEP days of this year. All of the 5th grade transitions have been scheduled. This means that this group of students are almost middle schoolers, I will miss them!

Week of May 7th

May7

There are many activities coming up as we near the end of the school year. 4th grade will soon be going to Mackinac and the 5th grade will be going to Greenfield Village. The 5th grade students are also busy rehearsing for the 5th grade performance. I still have a few 5th grade transition meetings to prepare for middle school, it has been really nice to meet with parents and middle school staff. I am looking forward to a great week!

May is quickly approaching! From the looks of today we are getting the final April Showers! It is very busy right now getting everything finished up for the end of the school year. 5th grade transition IEP’s are nearly finished. This is such an exciting time as we plan for them to move on to Middle School.
If your child receives an invitation to summer school please return it ASAP. I would love to see some familiar faces!

It is so hard to believe that it is already the last week of April! I want to thank all of the 5th grade parents that I have been working with, we have been very busy working on transitioning the 5th grade students to Middle School. If your child has not yet had a transition meeting, we do have some more dates and times to come.
I have really enjoyed working with this group of students and wish them continued success as they move to Middle School.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the transition.

Week of 4/16/2012

April16

Today has turned out to be a blustery day! We are moving right through this school year. Please contact me if you have any questions about your childs transition to the next grade. I have also had some students commenting that they are unable to locate spelling lists. If you go to their grade level tab there is a spelling note every week, this includes the new list.
Have a great week!
